Wayfinder Creative ( and Wayfinder Radio) with Jason C. Brown is a place to take your art and creativity seriously, where you can go to reflect on your journey and build a thriving creative practice whether you're a maker, a doer, an artist or a mover.

This work is for all creatives and artists: potters, poets, movement and martial artists, entrepreneurs, or anyone who wants to use their creativity and physicality to bring something magical to the world. You'll find videos of my podcast, Wayfinder Radio here, as well as my vlogs and other creative pursuits and practices. I have integrated a broad range of art forms throughout my career, so my examples will refer to performance, moving and martial arts, printmaker and linocut art as well as bass & acoustic guitar. My own experience shows that these different art forms are always energizing and supporting one another in a creative ecology and culture that extends to every aspect of daily life.

Since creative work in the studio is not far removed from what we do at our jobs and in our families and other personal relationships, my work strives to make connections among the full spectrum of creative possibilities. Wayfinder Creative is a reflection on creative living as well as art.

Thanks for being here with me.

Creative Movement is a general term used in the wide field of those disciplines connected to the relationship between body/mind/spirit. For us, it has become a specific approach that requires a three-year training. All the information that follows refers to CM as it is intended in this training. It was named “Garcia-Plevin Method”® to define its particular approach Creative Movement (CM) is a discipline which aims to revitalize an individual's ability to deeply perceive and listen to the body and develop expressive and creative potential. The body, source and medium of our emotional life is considered the central axis of a creative process, despite the artistic language in which it may be realized.
